CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland's lack of snow is about to end. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, calling for up to a half foot of snow or more, and high winds from early Friday to early Saturday. The weather advisory for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain and Medina counties is scheduled for 24 hours, starting at 1 a.m. Friday, with temperatures expected to drop throughout Thursday in advance of the advisory period. Winds of up to 30 mph are expected during this time, along with 2 to 6 inches of snow in much of the region, with up to 9 inches depending on lake effect conditions.
