CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three area teams punched their tickets to the district finals, which will be Friday night around Northeast Ohio, as Cuyahoga Heights, Perry and Mogadore made sure their seasons will continue for at least one more game. Cuyahoga Heights will play in its first district final since 2018, advancing past Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas with a 42-37 win at Gilmour Academy in Division III. The Red Wolves will face Smithville, which held off Fairview on Monday to prevent an all-area matchup Friday at Gilmour.
