The city of Cuyahoga Falls will host the annual Police Officers Memorial Service to pay tribute to fallen officers and those who have served at 10 a.m. May 17 at the Police Memorial, located at the Cuyahoga Falls Civic Center Campus, 2310 2nd Street. Chief Jay McDonald of the Marion Police Department will deliver the keynote address. McDonald has served for over 30 years and has held several positions within the Fraternal Order of Police, including National Vice President and Ohio President. A reception will be held at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium after the ceremony.
